Sylvia Brown has a good book out about contacting Spirit Guides, it also contains a CD to help meditate to possible have the Guide come to you.

The only spirit guides humans have are guardians angels.. And the spirit guide bull-doo-doo came from some sci-fi writers imagination... So do yourself a favor and stop looking for it............

I would first of all ask why you want to know this, but I will attempt to answer.

Some people never know who their spirit guide(s) are, and some are lucky enough to know. If you are meant to know who they are, you will know in time, but it's not a thing that you can force, spirit will decide when the time is right for you to know.
