  1. That depends entirely on when it was that you committed the crime, where it was, and whether the incident is still on the books. Generally, misdemeanors are junked after seven years, but that's not the case everywhere.

    Talk to the police department in the area where you were arrested. If this was a juvenile offense, they might have some sympathy, particularly if you've been clean ever since.  


  2. I'd check with the human resources, I think if it's past 7 years then you're fine.

  3. What is a class A or class B misdemeanor. Because in most department if you have a class A misdemeanor or higher you disqualified.Further, if its a class b misdemeanor it shouldhave been at least 10 years when youcommittedd the crime

  4. Yes.  In Canada, my friend couldn't get a job with the police force because he shoplifted when he was 15 years old.
