What is book time on repair and replace using new verses using remanufactured? 3.0 V6 24 valve

1. A/C on 2000 Tauras SEL.

2. Bushings and Tierods?

What should i ask about the car? He says he is the original owner and travels to and from Texas for business sales. He is selling because he got a company car. No A/C is really bad isn't it? That costs alot doesn't it? What else are Fords known for breaking down? He says he spends $600 a year in repairs. Does that sound right? He says this is a car from Texas this sounds like a auction car. What do you think Chime in any thoughts

  1. I would steer clear of it altogether they are problems when in good condition to start with

  2. Offer 2500.

  3. i would offer $2,000.

  4. it is junk to begin with as the Taurus brought to light the fact that Forsd was and is using generic parts to build cars as the Taurus was the one that was firstone to be found out in late 1990's to early 2000's.  I would offer 500-1000 without ac.  It is only worth 2500 in fair condition which is average and ac will cost 2000 to replace and repairs to be  5000 for first 8 years is not good.

  5. I would offer $3,000
