I am looking at buying a harleynightster for a first bike . I am 6'2 and 215 pounds.?

I really like the way the nightster looks. I am experienced on dirt bikes and have rode a few crotch rockets. Is a sportster a girls bike because thats what some say? and im not sure if the bike would be too small for me or if a different sportster would be better. My brother has an R6 crotch rocket, how would the power of a sportster compare? Thanks for your help!

The word cycling, suggests active involvement of the person sitting on the bicycle in propelling forward momentum. Ever heard of motorcycling?

1200cc's is not too small for ANYBODY!!! There are bigger bikes available of course, but 1200cc is a LOT! The usual recommendation for a first street bike is 600cc or less while you learn the ropes.

And in my opinion the black Nightster looks sweet, all the other color options look like c**p.
