Question:

I am looking for Lama brand furniture fasteners

I have a set of RTA or KD bookcases and the metal cam dowels got lost in a recent move. The round cam is stamped Lama, but I can't find them anywhere. They are several years old, made by SK Products, who I believe is out of business. Lowes has a longer cam, but what I need is 35mm overall length, 7mm diameter, with the threaded end and the cam space both 7mm each. The round cam is 25mm dia and 10mm deep. Any help or any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have a picture of the part which I can email upon request (I don't think I can add a picture here). Thanks again!

  1. Lama fasteners is now apparently owned by Titus and also joined with Huwil,

this place sells lama hinges so even if they don't have your part may be able to order it in...

    http://woodworker.com/cgi-bin/FULLPRES.e...

and this is the titus site with PDF documents for Lama hinges (and as they now own Lama you should be able to contact them for somewhere to buy what you need if the first link can't get it for you.)  http://www.titusplus.com/index.php?page=...

    Hope that helps
