There are many great opportunities in this day and age but data entry isn't on of them. I have tried everything from affiliate marketing to online surveys and I learned several things. That all the work you put into those companies doesn't add up to much. I work a full-time job, but I need more to help me with the rising cost of everything. But if you want a real opportunity to make some money here's what you look for in an online company.

1. If you decide to sell a product it has to be in high demand and be very low in cost.

2. You don't want a fly by night company......look for an established business with 5, 10, 20 or 30 years in business.

3. Find a publicly traded company to work for that's on the New York stock exchange.

4. Does the company have growth every year that's it's been in business??? It should or that's not the direction you want to go in

Most of the sites that claim to offer you online data entry work from home are just pure scams wanting your money. Then they give YOU an identical site and expect you to advertise it.

I checked out the sites listed by your previous answerers - I didn't find ONE that truly answers your question. I am still waiting  for a reply to my email for another.

Sadly I think you are chasing something that just doesn't really exist and you would be better looking for a genuine home based business - and I can help you with that

There are very few legit online jobs, and data entry is not one of them.  They can hire people in India for a dollar an hour to do that work, and that's where they are (also Costa Rica).  Check out any ideas on all the forums before you pay ANY money at all.  Most are scams.

I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. Hi! You should never pay anyone to have a JOB from home. If someone is offering employment and asking for money then it is a scam. However, a HOME BUSINESS is different.
