I live in the US, but here's a good way to find someone:

Go to any number of sports-matching websites (some, below), and submit your name or look for partners. Most such sites require registration, but it's free.

Please use common sense when responding to any prospective play mates: don't give any personal info to anyone for any reason; don't tell people that you're single and leaving your home unguarded, etc, etc, etc.
