I am looking for a SUPER EASY chip dip to make that i can make alot of! Perferably a Ranch type flavor!?

I am getting married in 3 weeks and am having a casual reception. We are looking for an EASY chip dip to put out as another option. We have people allergic to onion and we are not looking for Nacho dips as we already have that taken care of! Thanks for any help you can give me :)

Garden Vegetable Dip

Ingredients

1 packet/1 oz.

Hidden Valley® The Original Ranch® Dips Mix

1 container/16 oz.

Sour cream

Stir in any of these ingredients:

3/4 cup

Diced fresh tomatoes or

1/4 cup

Chopped green onions or

1/4 cup

Chopped ripe olives, rinsed and drained

Potato or corn chips, for dipping



Preparation

Prep Time: 15 min.

Chill Time: 1 hr.

Combine dips mix with sour cream. Stir in tomatoes, onions or olives. Chill at least 1 hour. Serve with potato or corn chips.

Makes 2 cups.

There is the hidden valley ranch dip mix that is usually located around the seasonings section. There is also the French Onion dip mix.

In both cases you mix the packets with sourcream. It is easy to mix and stores well, so you can make it a day or so ahead of time.  The ranch could also double as vegy dip.

if you go to the chip selection at stores lays has a dip selection, hummus is also a good option or tehina.

try sour cream mixed with taco seasoning...that's all.  you can top w/shredded lettuce.

Mix Salsa and Ranch Dressing to desired flavor, or use Sour Cream instead of Ranch dressing, or make some of each.  Since it is for a crowd, it would be a good idea to either use mild salsa for all the dip, or make some mild, some medium, and some hot.  Not everyone likes hot salsa.

The only drawback to this very simple dip is it has a short life.  You'd do well not to make it before the morning of the reception, or the night before at the very earliest.

this doesnt taste like ranch and is a nacho dip o well good to have really good

1/2 a brick of velveta cheese

1 can of rotel

and 1 lbs ground beef

and pop it in the microwave for five minutes or until the cheese is melted not burnt..

good with tortilla chips

BOLD EAGLE RANCH DIP

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing

1/4 cup chopped dill pickles

1 large shallot, diced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving. Serve with chicken wings, vegetables or quesadillas.

Buy the hidden valley dry ranch mix. Just follow the directions, all that you add is sour cream (good stuff, not the cheap c**p) Tastes great!

if u go to the grocery store and buy a tub of sour cream, you can buy packets of ranch to mix in that and voila. your ranch dip. and you can buy as many tubs and packets as you need to be in yummy ranch heaven.
