I am looking for a a service manual for a 1970-73 Yamaha AT1 dirt bike, preferrably for free online.?

That'll get You to the download.

It's labelled "Yamaha LT2 LT3 AT1C AT2 AT3 CT1C Service Manual "

Which sounds like a Clymer or Chilton manual ,,,and not original  Yamaha.

Some people like them better,,,and the Pictures usually Are better
