  1. www.k12.com

  2. Try looking up Faith Academy on their website they tell you all their locations and give tons of information on it i did it and it was great .

  3. I would go with Penn Foster High School. After doing a lot of checking their program is the most accepted as being "an accredited program of study."

It's not as expensive as the other programs out there and they do finance.

  4. I would look into Christian Liberty Press.

However if she is about 2 years behind in a conventional school you must also take into consideration that most home school programs are written for independent students at the high school levels.

It would be best that you start at least a year or two below the 9Th grade, and let her catch up at her own pace.

She may catch up quickly, and it may also be beneficial for her to redo some materials to master the concepts she may have previously missed.

If you'd prefer a more secular approach see if this web site can be of some assistance:

A general, but most informative home school site is:

To find out what the laws, and requirements for you state are, and to receive help and assistance when needed with school districts visit:

  5. Switched On Schoolhouse by Alpha and Omega. It runs for around 70-140$ new on eBay, I am schooled by it and I love it! You have to spend around two hours setting the program up, but after that, you click on the icon and start schoolwork. It is a great program.

  6. If you want one online there is k12freehomeschooling.org

I use it and I skipped 8th grade but it all still makes sense to me. So she could try doing a level ahead. The cost is a one time fee of $10 per class and for and a little more she can have an online tutor that will help her with anything she does't get. If she ever wants to talk you can email me through Yahoo just click on my pic. I will get back as soon as I can.
