I am looking for a car and need insurance to buy one. don't know make yet. any sugestions?

we need to have insurance before we can buy a car at a car lot and the insurance companies i have contacted want to the know the make, year, etc. we can't provide that yet. how do i get insurance for a vehicle we don't have yet?

Well, when you know the vehicle you want to buy, you then call you insurance company and give them all the info.

You don't need insurance to buy a car... but if you want to drive it, have a loan on it or go to get plates you will need insurance.

you don't get insurance for a car u don't have.....when u buy you call ins co with Vin.number.......how are we to know what you want? how old r you? how much $ do you have/make?..city or hyway commuter? need 4 wd or AWD...where do u live...snow?

you call them right before you go get the car have everything set uop get to the dealer buy the car call the insurance company give them a down payment andf the car is insured. most places have an aftyer hour number but my suggestion would to be find an agent first get rough quote find what car you want go back with the vin get firm price go to dealer finalize paper work call insuance agent give down payment and you are good to go. 1-800 ALLSTATE
