depending on the size of your truck you can go with 2 shallow mount subs, most brands have a set on the market and a decent quality amplifier. If you did the installation yourself you could probably pay about 300 bux for the equipment and end up with a decent sounding system. There are alot of decent amps out there under 150 bux that would work for you, it just depends really on the subs that you want. hit me up on yim at jnanthony14 and i can help you out as much as i can

try out bazooka tube I installed one in a dodge pick up and it sounded really good and it was just a 61/2 with an amp already built in it fit right under the seat and i think they make them up to 12" with or with out an amp really nice and very small enclosers check it out
