I am looking for a chocolate cake recipe?

My mom made this a few years ago, but can't find the recipe. It was a chocolate cake mix and can of prepared pudding and chocolate chips were sprinkled on top. What I can't remember is if the cake mix was to be prepared as usual with the water, eggs and oil or if that was altered because of the pudding. Thanks in advance.

    Recipe:

    INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

    1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix

    1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

    1 cup vegetable oil

    4 eggs

    1/2 cup hot water

    1 cup sour cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips



    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.

    Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, water, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.

    Bake for 1 hour. Allow to cool.

    Ingredients Preparation

    2 Cups Flour  

    Preheat Oven to 300° F

    (This is not a typo! This is a slow bake chocolate cake recipe.)

    Use Crisco Shortening to lightly grease and flour the

    9 x 13 in. Baking Dish. (It's a one layer chocolate cake!)

    Place all the ingredients on the left into a mixing bowl.

    Mix at medium or medium high speed until all ingredients are blended and smooth.

    Pour into greased and floured baking dish

    Bake for 1 hr.

    Test by sticking with knife. If it comes out clean, it's done!

    Allow to cool.



    2 Cups Sugar

    ¾ Cup Hershey's Cocoa

    2 Teaspoons Baking Soda

    2 Eggs (I use large eggs)

    1 Teaspoon Salt

    1 Cup Buttermilk

    Remember that you can freeze buttermilk so you have to make another buttermilk chocolate cake recipe.



    1 Cup Mazola Oil

    1 ½ Teaspoons Vanilla Extract

    1 Cup Boiling Water

Take 1/2 cup Self-raising flour, 1/2 cup Superfine Sugar, 2 Tbsp Cocoa, pinch Salt, 1/4 cup Melted butter (saltless butter), 1/2 cup Milk, 1Egg, a little Vanilla essence.  Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl in the above order. Beat well for 2 minutes. Pour into a prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven until cake test done.

    Preheat Oven,  Grease and flour pan

    Oven Temp ~ 350°        

    Baking Time ~ 35 - 40 Min.

    Pan Type ~ 7 inch cake pan

  5. Eclair cake it is the BEST in the whole world. My mom makes it all the time and everyone loves it!

    Here are the ingredients:

    2 (8 ounce) boxes French vanilla instant pudding

    1 (16 ounce) box graham crackers

    1 (16 ounce) jar Hershey's fudge topping

    1 (16 ounce) jar red maraschino cherries

    1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip

    Directions:

    1. mix pudding according to pie directions.

    2. stir in tub of cool whip until creamy.

    3. in a 9 x 13 pan line bottom with graham crackers.

    4. pour half of pudding mix on crackers.

    5. top with another layer of crackers.

    6. pour in rest of pudding mix, top with crackers.

    7. heat hot fudge topping enough to be able to spread it ( about 1 min,stir,1 minute in microwave)

    8. decorate top with cherries.

    9. refrigerate over night before serving.
