I am looking for a chrome plate to cover my back door step - the bit that is attached/part of the frame.

It is going a bit old and i instead of replacing the whole frame i was thinking about getting a chrome plate/tread. Does anyone know the exact name for one of these as I have searched on google but can't find them anywhere. Even better.. does anyone know a website in the uk that do see them?? Thanks! x

any diy store should stock these, they are called threshold plates/covers and come in either plain metal, usually aluminium or gold coloured. think they are around £30 for a decent one.
