I am looking for a circuit diagram for a SINE WAVE / PURE SINE WAVE INVERTER

The inverter rating 1kVA - 5 kVA with 12 V dc input and 230V 50 or 60 Hz output.

Preferably, discreet component construction.

Other input voltage version(s) will also do.

I have yet to see one of these on any DIY or hobby sites -- the ones I have seen are simple square-wave types (that filter the harmonics out of the square-wave).

Something this large is a commercial product and the manufacturers are not exactly willing to release the information to the public -- especially if there is some proprietary information in their designs.

The best thing I can think of, is to contact the manufacturers of these inverters and try to get a repair manual for an inverter.
