I am looking for a college degree in which I could be a grounds keeper for a professional sports team...?

I think horticulture is the closest thing, but am not interested in plants and trees. Just maintaining the grounds and playing field for baseball and or football. Does anyone know of this type of degree or is there one?

If you want to be a groundskeeper you need a degree in turfgrass management.  Check colleges and universities around you to see if they offer it.  If you live near New York, SUNY Cobleskill has a good program.
