I am looking for a funky nest of tables but any I find seem to be very old fashioned.?

yeah, check out ikea. There's a few scattered around the UK, and I think they're opening more stores.

try www.argos.co.uk thats where i got mine from, and they don't look old fashioned!

other than that, try www.ikea.com they have some really lovely stuff!
