I am looking for a good sight where i am can plug in a date and year and get events that happened

I am making a book for my bf 30th birthday, basically, what i am going to do is starting with the day he was born 9/4/78 up until 9/4/08 I want to do things that happened on that day each year. Does anyone know of a good site that will pull up events that happened, sporting, poitical any big news.

Wikipedia isn't bad for that sort of thing. Or you can google for those specific days and see what turns up.

Wikipedia can research as far back as you want, but the site isn't so good for current events sometimes. You can go on Newser.com - right above the picture grid, you can select a date and it will show you the top news stories of that day.
