I am looking for a great home karaoke system without paying more than $500. SHould I go for digital? Help!?

I don't know if I should look for something to use with my ibook, or a component system or what. There is just so much out there.

Portables are the way to go.

are you using a home theather style system or a home sterio for the audio output?

your ibook make a great portable storage system for your music files but you need to use a stonger audio source for everyone to hear you sing....=)

You're not going to get a "great karaoke system" for "under $500.00.

Forget the iBook as there is no good karaoke software for Mac computers.

For home use most people would be better off opting for an all-in-one system.
