I believe you should enter into the experiment with an open mind and a blank slate.  I encourage you to conduct honest experiments with your friends and report honest results.  Don't go into it trying to prove (or disprove) anything as this will potentially skew your results.  If you get positive results then great.  However, you must be prepared for the possibility that you may not have any positive results.  If this is the case then you may have to reappraise your opinion of TK.  Are you prepared to do that?
