Super Chris - you are no help : [ .... I don't want to go to a strip club 5 days a week.

I already have a partner, I just want to socialise. I did join a calligraphy class but found the people were older. I don't enjoy knitting / embroidery / sewing of any kind but I do like arts and craft. Even stain glass making. But am finding it difficult to find something to do in the London / Kent area.

  1. Photography, martial arts, climbing, hiking, camping, horseback riding, writing, learning a musical instrument, volunteering, join a local theatre, painting, biking, yoga, read, get a job at a coffee shop, work at a soup kitchen, take cooking classes, run/jog, collect something, etc. etc....

Basically, if you look hard enough, you can find a million things to do!

  2. Learn to play the guitar with lessons tons of ppl do that

  3. what about yoga, pilates or a dance class.  Check at your local community center or in shops as some put up posters for local classes.

    xx

  4. I don't know how old you are, but my husband and I met a great group of people in our early twenties when we started taking ballroom dance lessons.  It has become very popular, so it's not just for the older people.  Just make sure that you find a class for your age group.  Another idea may be to check out some volunteer options that would have groups of people working together.

  5. Throwing clay, indoor rock climbing, photo classes, book clubs, cooking classes, tennis, golf, racket ball, swimming, exercises classes, community service, volunteering, painting, sculpting, bird watching.

  6. Ooo go to Hard Materials Classes, they're really fun! WIth the hammering and all. Learn a new language perhaps? If you're not into competitive sports, try darts? Learning how to dance with your partner is fun.

  7. I have just taken up jewellery making... beading in particular. I go to my local college once a week for a course (which is very inexpensive too) in jewellery making. It is such fun and i have met so many new friends of all ages. Why not ring your local college and find out if they do one near you?
