I am looking for a hotel/pensionne house at manila that is near in department of affairs!?

we will arrive this coming sept. 08 and we will stay for 1week.coz we will renew the passport of my husband. and also, i want to know how far is the airport from dfa? I like the price that is less than 1,500 with aircon and double bed! Hope you can help me...... thanks!

try the balikbayan hotel, i believe it is in pasay which is near the airport and dfa. however, check online cause i believe you have to book on it online to get a space.

try the Kabayan Hotel at their Pasay branch.

you can book online and cheaper too (although, am not sure whether they have a good room for two for P1500,)

one advantage booking online with them, is you will have the luxury of a free airport pickup with their van.  the hotel is just a few kilometers away from the airport, maybe less than 20 minutes travel in normal traffic.

from the hotel, you could easily take a jeepney (one ride only) to DFA in less than 10 minutes travel.  it is also near the MRT/LRT transport and there are a lot of cheap food around.

distance between airport and dfa could not be more than 8 kilometers.

but i will be worried of your desired timeframe of stay. nowadays, dfa has implemented the new Machine Readable Passport, in compliance with international standards for passports.  hence, unlike before, processing times have really more than doubled.  regular processing of passports would take 3-4 weeks.  rush processing would take between 8-15 days.  not unless you know somebody in dfa who could facilitate your renewal, i doubt 7 days stay (including travel) would be enough.   for your reconsideration.
