  1. Try www.sixthstar.com.  Thats who I went through when I applied.  They work with a few different cruiselines and will probably be able to help you find a position of interest much faster than going to the cruiseline itself.

  2. You need to contact the cruise lines directly. On their web sites you will find a link to jobs, employment, human resources or some such link that will give you information about their positions. Some sites even have current vacancies they are recruiting for.

Don't go to the web sites that advertise "cruise line jobs" because they charge a fee.  The cruise lines give you all you need without charging a fee.

Several cruise lines have new ships coming out soon so opportunities will be there. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Disney and some others will have new ships launched in the next couple years.

    Here are some links:

    The luxury cruise lines are:

    REGENT SEVEN SEAS:

    http://www.rssc.com/

    RADISSON:

    http://www.cruisingluxury.com/Radisson.....

    SILVER SEAS:

    CRYSTAL:

    AZAMARA:

Other cruise lines that most people go on:

    CUNARD:

    http://www.cunard.com/

    HOLLAND AMERICA

    http://www.hollandamerica.com/

    CELEBRITY:

    CARNIVAL:

    DISNEY:

Then there are some that operate out of Europe:

    STAR:

    COSTA:

    MSC:

I know that on Royal Caribbean's site if you go to the bottom of their home page and click on OUR COMPANY it will take you to a page where career opportunities are listed by category: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/ourCompany...

Then there are more links that will let you see and download job requirements. Celebrity Cruise line is a RC affiliate and so you should be able to get similar information from them the same way. here's a link to their jobs page: http://www.celebritycruises.com/aboutcel...

    Here's Norwegian Cruise line: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/cruiser/cmsPag...

Another thing to do is to contact the concession that run the shops on the ships like the souvenir, gift and clothing shops. Below are links for you.

  3. First, you have to be over 21, and have experience in the job in which you are applying.

Second, my advice would be not to do what Tinkertoy advises, because I tried that and it doesn't work as cruise lines for the most part don't directly hire for entry level positions.

They use hiring partners.  There are two main hiring partners that work in the U.S.  Hiring partners take care of all the paperwork and interviewing and do most of the work involved in the hiring process.  They do not charge a fee as they are paid by the cruise line.  If you find a service that asks you for money, don't give it to them, look elsewhere.

The three main hiring partners within the U.S. are:

    C-Deck

    Just Cruisn' Recruitment

    Cast-A-Way

A Google search will yield websites.

  4. go to Carnival cruise dot com there is a section for applications to work
