I am looking for a labtop and was wondering which would be the best brand? and i am a student.?

brand you need a sony. and at some places you can find them for under 800 hundred dollers. i would no i own one. i have had it 10 and almost a half of ayear. its working just as well as the first day igot it. go for sony.

Alright well people tell you that you should get  a dell Insprion which is fine but you want a laptop that has good memory and ask your self what are you gonna use it for and and most important the price range that vary in different ranges.

Best brand laptop? they are no such animal... You are probably in the market for a budget system but you'll still need to know what features are most appealing to your needs in order to make your choice good luck...

I would recommend a Toshiba.  I purchased one about 5 months ago, and it has been a great computer.  The pricing is variable, but the warranty service is great.

i would have to agree with the mac.

the mac air is so cool.

my bro has one and it runs super fast.

but more good brands are Dell and HP

i have a dell and it works jst as good.

Your best bet is a MacBook. It is an excellent machine and comes with pretty much all you need and nothing you don't. Great OS and applications and none of the viruses and spyware common on Windows platforms.

Also, if you're a college student, you can get a free iPod touch with your purchase.

HP is junk.... by a Dell they can customize them for students.

what is your price range, if you can spare $1100 to $1500 dollars get a macbook, it is super fast, i got one and im really happy. If you want a tablet get a Modbook, lookit up on google, but it is like $2000, but very good.

I would have to go with a dell inspiron 1525. They have great laptops on their sight. You can get a 3GB Ram with 250GB hard drive for about $1000. But what I really like about them is their great customer service. My friends dad is a computer expert. He says that dells are a great choice for students because they can pinpoint the problem and walk u through how to fix it, or send in the parts so u can fix it manually. Basically, get one that meats ur needs, but dont count out customer service.
