I am looking for a low priced place to hold at least 250 guests for my wedding reception, north texas area.?

I need a dance floor and a place that lets us bring in our own food. I need something cheap, an old barn, or land that can be rented and I can put a big party tent on it. My wedding is valentines day 2009, and we need something close to Mckinney texas. We don't have alot of money to spend on this, but have decorations to make a less fancy place look amazing...any ideas are welcome!

I don't know the area but you might have to cut down your guest list a little. 250 is a lot of people and most places charge by the head. Good luck, though!

I live in Fort Worth & Im getting married next Saturday so I know of a few places you could go since I have done so much looking & researching....I dont exactly where McKinney is but here are a few places in & around the Metroplex....As for money saving tips have some one you know cook the food or just get Fruit & Veggie trays from Walmart. If you have a friend who is a photographer get them to do your wedding. Buy your flowers wholesale then have a friend put the bouquets together. For centerpieces do anything with candles (they are super cheap!). Decorate your self! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)
