I am looking for a new mountain bike preferably under 500$?

I am looking to use the bike for some around town and off road biking. most of the bike i have previously owned i have beat up pretty well. i have been looking at the raleigh mojave 5.0. would be willing to go a bit over and would be willing to get a 2007 model.

Get a mongoose, the one with the electric motor on it. It's really rugged and if you get too tired to peddle anymore just use the electric motor.
