  1. Scott releases are fine releases. I have a single caliber Scott release that I shot last year that was accurate and smooth as silk. This year I went to a Scott Silverhorn that has a hook designed for shooting string loops, which I use. The advantage to the Silverhorn, is that it can be put on the string loop by feel, and is very quick to hook up.The slower hooking up single caliber that I used last year cost me a good 10 point. ( I had to have some excuse!)  Good luck on your hunting this year!

  2. i hav a trufire and i love it. it has a locking mech to keep the trigger from getting in the way of your hand when your climbing a tree or whatever.  it also has an adjustable length of the aid so if your draw length changes slightly over the years you can make it longer. it was about $60 6yrs ago so im sure its less by now.
