  1. First of all it depends on money you would like to spend.

You can look into Pursuit boats. They've good design and not inexpensive resale values are generally above average. For example Pursuit 2670 Cuddy Console.

Also you can look into Post sport fisherman boats. Post 42 is good for me, but its difficult sometimes to find them, cuz of limited number of established dealers

  2. Some of the best-built most practical ski/fish boats are made by Scout Boats. The Dorado series is a bow-rider with built-in bait-tank and rod-holders, rod storage and ski storage as well as easy to clean carpet-less decks. They come fitted with a swim-step and ladder... The hull is very seaworthy and is comfortable in rough water. The fit and finish is excellent. No rough nasty unfinished fiberglass, even in the dark places under the dash and behind th hull liner. It would be my all around boat of choice.

  3. Whether or not it's still true, I can't say, but Bayliner has earned a poor reputation over the years.

Some people will argue that it isn't true, but I've spoken to lots of people who just won't own one, so the "perceived" poor quality can make resale difficult.

  4. Carlina skiffs will do anything you want and they have a huge selection if boats.

  5. i wont even try to say which is better,,,all have pros and cons,,,but will tell you from building yachts for many years,,,,,bayliners are 1 of the very worst boats made,,,,how they stay in biz. i have no idea

  6. scarabs make the best ocean going and speed ready boats.

they have a seperate line of tri hulls

  7. Tahoe has a very nice line of boats, the one that would be a great ski/fishing boat is one from their SF(sport fish) group it has the fishing set up & the ski set up al in one. If you have a Basspro shops close to you they carry the Tahoe or I have the website for you
