I am looking for a newspaper artical a girl in gilbert that was held hostage, where can I look?

I was that little girl and i would like to find the artical that was written on it. It is for a book I am creating for my self. a Kind of get over the past and move on book. it happened in 1998 or 1999 i am not sure of the month as I did my best to block it out. can anyone help me? maybe give me a website to look on? Your help would be great thank you.
