You should definitely go to Mandola's in Driftwood, Texas not far at all from Austin. I've been there and its like something you would expect from Italy. Also they have the best desserts, and can you say gellati, the best ice cream in the world.

Eddie V's downtown is romantic and delicious (seafood), then head to Cedar Street Courtyard for martinis on 4th Street. Stay a night at the Hilton or Four Seasons downtown.

Or pack an evening picnic and eat on Mt. Bonnell.
