    This has several ideas.

    Best wishes!

  3. You should check out the Cripple Creek area on the way up to Black Hawk and Central City- there are some beautiful, picturesque creekside spots that would be so perfect for a small wedding ceremony.  Contact the Gilpin County Parks and Rec department for assistance.

If your wedding's a little bigger, here's a website to a great lodge in Breckenridge where my friend almost had her wedding before she decided to do a destination wedding instead.  It's really gorgeous all year round, and Breckenridge is only about 1 1/2 hours from Denver proper.

  4. I just so happen to have friends who live outside of Denver, and can suggest some very nice places.  You see, I am quite the skiier, and have spent much time in the Colorado Mountains.  May I suggest Flagstaff Mountain.  Check with Boulder Parks and Recreation about where on flagstaff mountain you might marry.  Also, check with the Evergreen Lake House, Evergreen Recreation Center, evergreen, colorado, has a lake house on a lake that has a large banquet room you can rent.  It is a majestic lake house, in the center of Evergreen, with beautiful mountains surrounding the lake, simply idyllic.  May I also suggest the Lookout Mountain Nature Center, simply gorgeous.  You might also consider Glenwood Springs Colorado.   There is a simply marvelous old hotel there where Teddy Roosevelt stayed.  it is the Hotel Colorado, very very gorgeous, beautiful, old style, with a hotsprings pool in front of it.  Simply marvelous, I might say.  I hope my teeny bits of advice help you my sweet friend.  Good Luck, and Toodles from a southern girl.

  5. is Estes Park too far?

this is Black Canyon Inn (twin owls steakhouse) I checked this place for my own wedding and it's beautiful, rustic. they also have an outdoor area w/ pond and bridge or gazebo.

i live in NoCo, so I could probably give you lots of suggestions, but this would be close to my top picks, let me know if you want more, or more area info
