I want a school that is kinda structured in the curriculum and that is part time. Something like three days a week and full days would be nice. We sent him to a preschool through a church before and it seemed all they really did was sing songs and color. Altough they were really nice, I dont feel like he learned very much. I figured asking parents would be the best idea. Thanks for any help.

  1. The best way to go is to look for a preschool that has a real good structure. You would really want your child to have fun in all of the things that they do. Here are some examples that you might want to keep in mind.

    1. circle time- children introduce themselves to the other kids, they do calendar, weather, learn to spell and read their names.

    2. A reading center that has appropriate books to look at and that the aid in the classroom can read to the kids.

    3. Free paytime where the kids can play with the toys that they want. And also check to see if they encourage the kids to clean up. This helps at home.

    4. Do they provide snack for the children and is it healthy.

There is so much to look for if you want more ideas please just let me know.
