  1. maybe you could go to a Ramsey restaurant - Such as Box Wood and have the set lunch rather than an evening meal?

The set lunches in Jamie Oliver & Gorden Ramsey's resturants are fantastic value compared with the dinner prices. You get great choices still but for only about £30 a head for 3 courses! Plus a bottle of wine and water it's going to be just on your budget. I think a service charge would blow the budget by about £10-15............

If you don't fancy a lunch then how about the Savoy Grill for an early dinner at 6pm??? I know it's an early dinner again, but the Savoy Grill really is fantastic and they have a 3 course early dinner menu for £25 a head. Very romantic and central location.

  2. It's not a reastaraunt, biut the Kings arms on Tooley street is fantastic!  They have a proper chef, and it's really reasonably priced!  I went there with my girlfriend for her birhtday last week and it was brilliant!

  3. MAZE, Gordon Ramsay. Yes it is possible on 50 Pounds each.

But when your their you might want to spend more.

  4. One of my favourite restaurants is The Blue Elephant in Fulham, across the road from Fulham Broadway tube station.

It is probably the most luxuriously decorated restaurant that I have been to. Done in the style of a Thai fishing village, the seating is arranged on wooden decking at different levels with streams running underneath. They have gone into great detail with all the features and the foliage is natural and very fresh.

The food is also delicious, however I think what you pay for is mainly the atmosphere.

Luckily, it is not ridiculously expensive. I am sure you can easily get away with £50 a head. Going there really is a special treat - perfect for a birthday.

  5. How about this for a different day out ?

  6. try booking a seat at say the criterion pre theatre or post theatre, most of these type of places will do you a cheap menu and make sure your out in time for the theatre( even if your not going to the theatre lol ).

  7. Try Barbarella in Fulham right near Fulham Broadway station (Italian). You should come in under that budget even with a bottle of wine.
