I am 25 / F. I would prefer to share the apt with other medical students / resident doctors.

  1. Try the Residential Wing in the Hospital Grounds of the Royal Adelaide Hospital  Bookings: (08) 8222 5169

The Residential wing offers single room accommodation with communal kitchen, laundry and

uni-s*x bathroom facilities.  The Residential wing used to be the nurses’ home and has twelve floors.  It is located at the rear of the hospital (northern end).  The rooms are basic and linen is provided.  The kitchen utensils are often scarce so if you are planning a long stay it may be worth bringing a few basics. The residential wing is rented commercially to mainly overseas students.

The advantages of the Residential wing are that it is onsite, cheap and ideal in emergency situations when you just want a bed and a shower.  Please note that it does not have air conditioning so can become warm if there is a long hot spell of weather.
