  2. Fran's is open on Christmas and 24 hours a day.   It is kind of like a diner but good food and they serve you.  And it's downtown on the subway line.

  3. While I'm not in Toronto - I have found that the only places open on Christmas day are either Chinese Restaurants or Hotel Restaurants.  I'd look into those.  I know that the Ritz Carlton has an amazing spread on Christmas Day (as does the Four Seasons).  Of course, you are paying a premium dining out on Christmas day but wih the better hotels - it's usually worth it.

Oh, and get your reservations in NOW.  We usually make ours over the summer.

  4. Hotel Restaurants

  5. Hello.

My first suggestion would be the Old Mill, but I understand they are totally booked for Christmas Day. Unless you wish to try to be on their cancellation list.

I know Chez Victor's at Le Germain Hotel still has some dinner openings for Christmas Day, but I would get on it now. Here is the number if you are interested. (416) 883-3431 I have no problem giving it a high recommendation, for both food and ambience. If I was in Toronto this Christmas, it would be my pleasure to dine there at Christmas or any other time.

Another idea would be to perhaps try a few hotel restaurants such as the Westin Harbour Castle, the Marriott at the Eaton's Centre, or the Royal York to name a few.

    Good Luck!!!
