  1. why not drive it?  you could hire someone to drive it a lot cheaper than having it hauled!  provided its all legal and stuff i would take on the challenge.

  2. I would call either Norfolk Southern railroad or the CSX railroad.  They are the primary RR's on the east coast and can probably arrange for shipping to the west coast.

I would guess this will be costly because RR's don't like to do a lot of handling of individual cars - they prefer dealing with long coal trains, or containers from point A to point B.

You may have to pay for car switching and interchange fees for your load to be transported across the US.

And you will need both physical as well as financial protection (insurance.)  A lot of cargo gets damaged or stolen in large cities or switching yards as thieves make off with valuable stuff.  You might need a rigger to properly tie down your vehicles from any kind of forward, backward and side to side motion.  Maybe temporary blocking, etc.    You might want it covered with tarps, as well.

Another option that makes a lot of sense. Consider using a high-cube shipping container, which would completely secure and cover your vehicles from prying eyes.   In that case, you might have more options using conventional shipping companies or freight forwarders.  They do this all the time, moving household goods, etc.

    Good luck.

  3. there is no tains

  4. hey i have a CDL Class A if you got it i will drive it for you and it is gonna cost you alot to ship it by train you can drive it or hire someone to drive it cheaper

  5. Tom SJ is right on the money.  Good job, and you should have ten points coming your way!
