I am looking for a temporary home educator for my litlle brother where do i find the best?

he will be 11 the end of this month he is autistic and has been turned down by every major school in his area my mym and my brothers dad are appealing tomorrow but it may come to a home educator so i am looking just incase

  1. It's going to be expensive, especially with a child on the ASD spectrum.  It would be a "private tutor", not a "home educator".  However, he may possibly be allowed to have home*bound* education through a school district, which is for medically challenged, and behavioral issue students.

    Under IDEA, the schools are required to teach your brother and give him services.  He's entitiled to a FAPE - free, and public education.

    Are you saying that the schools just won't give your parents what they want on his IEP?  Do the schools not have enough supports to accomodate his needs?  If so, then they *have to* pay for alternative schooling for him - at an autistic boarding school, or a private school.
