I have know idea what "ED ATUN" is talking about.  Florida properties  are very hard to come by...even with good credit.  Most landlords in "nice" complex will run a credit check on you.  If they see an eviction...they will NOT rent to you.  Would you take that chance if you were the landlord?


  2. .   Many apartment complexes are 50 % empty.  You are very likely to get a break today.  

    Otherwise, tell the truth and see what happens.  I'm a landlord. I want tenants who are honest and honorable who will pay me on time.  Convince me that you understand what got you into money trouble in the past and that it won't happen again; and i will rent you my place.

  3. Well, I would not even think about renting to anyone with an eviction.

    You might try offering to pay the first 12 months in advance.

    Otherwise you need to look on the side of town where others of questionable character reside.
