I want to display my records on the wall but still want full access to them to still use -ie: i dont want to put them in frames, which is the obvious answer and something i thought about for awhile.

Any suggestions?

  1. Frame the covers only. Then you will have full access to the records.

  2. Wrought iron plate racks.  They sell them in different lengths, some accomodate as few as 2 while others can hold 6.  Because they are wide at the bottom, each holder can hold a number of LPs, they will be secure and it would be a lovely display.

  3. Here's how I did mine:

    1. Place the record where I wanted it on the wall

    2. Nailed about a 3/4 inch big, flat head nail into the top of the center hole so it keeps the record where I held it

    3. Painted the flat head of the nail the same color as the wall (in my case, green) -- painting the nail helps disguise it and seems as if the record is just stuck to the wall

The records are still easily removable, they just balance against the wall and on the top of the nail/behind the head.
