I want to get a HD projector for the super bowl, The only HD antenna's I am finding are a coaxlial cable. Does anyone know if there is an antenna that goes into a rca or hdmi jack? The Projector does not have a coaxial cable hook up. Any suggestions would be great.

  1. If you can get HD TV over the air (free), you could get a USB tuner for your computer and feed the projector from the computer.  This gizmo will also let you record HD TV off the air.  USB HDTV tuners are under $100.  Staples usually has a USB one made by Hauppauge.

  2. You not only need a antenna but a tuner as well. Add a good antenna to the receiver below and you are in business. Hook it up with component video to the projector and optical to your HT receiver.

  3. I provide a link for a good antenna and also a link to a site that if you input your address it will tell you what Ch's are available in your area.

However remember antennas only pick up broadcast channels. You still require an ATSC tuner, (i.e.digital television  tuner).

  4. the projector does not have a hd tuner in it. you need to buy a seperate tuner and plug it into your projector.
