I am looking for an inexpensive Hotel in Brooklyn, NY. It has to be a nice hotel. I'm ok if not immaculate?

The Marriott is a good choice in downtown brooklyn:

I just noticed the Holiday Inn Express in my neighborhood in Brooklyn; it's new and Holiday Inn Expresses are usually a great deal --and Park Slope is one of the nicest and definitely safest neighborhoods in Brooklyn:

If you want to spend more, they just built this fancy hotel in Park Slope as well, though for such a fancy hotel, it's right on 4th Ave which is not the nicest street in the area. It does have great views of the city though:

All 3 of these are close to public transportation and easy to get into the city too, if that's what you're looking for.
