My specific LD's are with:

Sequencing

Visual Short Term Memory

Auditory Short Term Memory

Organization

Anyone know where I can find articles on line about these LD's?

He has been accusing me of being lazy, stupid, dumb or just not listening even though I am trying. Somebody recomended I teach him about my LD so that I don't feal so confused with drills (see my last question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkpWJ0Abkxe8cM2FbIfHRn_sy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080422185441AArGCn6), or at least so I don't mix the steps around or forget half of the drill.

Also if you have any other suggestions other than printing out articles please do tell them to me. I really do love lacrosse, and I dont want to give it up becuase it takes me a LONG time to learn the drills.

Thank-you

  1. Talk to the chairperson of special education at your school. He/she should be able to provide you with this information and might also be able to help you explain it to your coach.

  2. The best person to help you with this is your psychiatric specialist (I'm assuming you have one since you have been diagnosed with apparent disorders.)

Secondly, just consider playing lacrosse recreationally if you can't seem to hack it in the competitive leagues. It will be less stressful for you and you will still get to play. You must work with what you have, and if I was a coach I would want the players with the best physical and cognitive abilities.
