  1. go to the nearest city (for me it was new york) and take classes in every genre at different studios. i have learned that having different teachers will teach you to pick things up quicker, stay focused, and of course learn a lot more. every teacher has thier own method and you can sift through all of thier tips and input and find what works best for you. it is a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.

  2. 1. Stretch as much as you can

    2. Take dance classes

    3. Review different steps or routines you learn at home

    4. Work on calisthenics- good abs are a must for ballet/pointe dancers.

    5. Ask as many questions as possible and make sure you understand everything

    6. Always be prepared for the unsuspected

    7. Have Enthusiasm and set goals for what you want to achieve. this makes you want to try as hard as  you can

    8. Have fun with it !
