I am looking for directions from the guadalajara Mexico Airport to Puerto Vallarta, preferably by interstate.?

Traveling from the Guadalajara airport to the Sheraton Buganvilas. I would prefer to travel by interstate, for safety.

'Interstate' (toll road) less than 1/2 way.

Get on highway 15 headed for Tepic/Mazatlan.  Take the Compostella turnoff before Tepic to highway 200.  Highway 200 down the coast to Vallarta.

Get a map .. even AAA Mexico is good for main roads

It's about 5 hurs and don't drive at night !!!

BUY a  road map when you get to the airport.  Mexican roads are hard enough to navigate even with one
