I am looking for easy reading books I can print out for my six year old.?

The Reading A-Z website allows you to view and print samples of its books. I have used them with kindergarten children in Denver and Jeffco Public Schools. An annual subscription is not cheap (individual subscriptions are $79.95), but it may be a worthwhile investment for you, especially if you're looking for printable books for your daughter. I encourage you to visit the site and check out the samples. Print them out and see whether any are appropriate for your six-year-old. You can always decide later to subscribe. Also, ask your daughter's teacher, the building resource teacher or the principal at the school whether it has a site license. If so, maybe they'd be willing to print these books for you to use with your daughter at home. If you're looking for specific book recommendations, please e-mail me. Has your child taken a Lexile test (http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:j2k... ?

They give them at the end of the school year.  If so, you can use the Lexile score to choose books in order to help with reading.  You type in the Lexile score and find books that are at that level.  This site will be very helpful:

After finding the books you can go to your local library and pick them up.
