I'm a 9 handicap and live in snow country so I can't get outside to test new drivers. I've been testing inside but you all know it's not the same. Just looking for input, thanks.

  1. Good club. Tried it outside a few times. Straight hitter without going square. As long as anybody elses. If you want to work the ball there are better drivers for that.

  2. Long, but horrible sound at impact.

  3. great driver. put it in my bag last year and one of the best on the market. very light. huge head. hard to mis-hit. you can get one for 215.00 on rockbottomgolf.com.

  4. Not a fan; seems too light, shaft is longer than most stock drivers.

    R7 460 is a better club IMO.

  5. Interesting fact - this was the first non "wood" driver to win the masters - by Olazabal as late as 1994.

The driver he used would look more like a 3 wood now!

  6. I bought a new Burner driver last season and I love it.  Light and slightly longer than normal shaft (50 grams v normal 65 and about 44 inches) so it allows for a little more club head speed. (Mine's regular flex)  I find it very forgiving and I have more success shaping my drives than I did with my old TM 360.   I liked it so much that this year I added a burner 3 wood to the bag.  I'm thinking about replacing my rac 2 irons with burner irons next year.  (Not wealthy enough to do it all at once).  I do agree that the sound of the ball off the clubhead is a little tinny, but then again who really cares what it sounds like as long is it's long and straight.
