I am looking for food pantry's in my zip code 60618 in Chicago?

I am in need of some food for myself and 4 children. Just lost my job and tried to apply for food stamps but they told me they have 30 days to approve me or not. If anyone knows of pantry's let me know. thanks.

You can also try churches too.

Did you apply for welfare too?  I think you should at least until you find a job, then you will get food stamps right away and medical insurance.  Also, if your children are young enough, they can qualify for WIC.

Go to a local church, it does not matter if you are a member or not! They will help you and they will also give you connections as to others that will help you with in that area.

The father or priest usually has donations from food drives the church has and people in the community often donate to a local church.

if your over 50, you can get 100 per month cash on link card,  i know that for sure,   Ummm call  crises line, my friend did, & they gave her places to call, & she contacted the police to,   good luck, its a hard *** life these days & getting worse,
