  1. i totally agree with twisted the wireless option is rubbish..Why dont you go for the Sony DAV-IS10 Black (5.1 DVD package system - with HDMI - inc speakers) its only £299.99 at richer sounds a huge saving comparing it to currys who sell it at £599.99 the speaker are small... i mean very small you can use d line trunking to hide the wires.

and you will get a very good system at silly money.

    Good Luck

  2. Spend some time to look at a panasonic scpt850w. it is a 5.1 and have optical input so you can connect hd boxes and get sorround sound. also plays back  standard dvd with 1080p up conversion. very reliable too.you must get 850w version as there's scpt850 which is with wires and scpt850w is wireless!!

    Thanks

  3. GOOD? > WIRELESS? > OXYMORON!

  4. Unknownsoundman explains it perfectly!

You CANNOT buy a good wireless speaker system, at any price.

They ALL suffer from breakup, distortion and dropout, due to electrical appliances, mobile phones, passing taxis or even someone just walking around the room.

If you want to actually enjoy your home cinema experience, you must have wires.  Wireless does not work.
