I am looking for help in tracing my family name 'Perales'?

i have traced my family from texas to mexico. they migrated to texas in the mid 1800.s to san antonio. i think the name means "land where the pear tree grows' i have found some towns in spain with the name Perales in them. i also know the it is and old name i tried to click in spain and ask my question there but my spanish is really bad so i couldn't do it. i would like to use q/a in spain to see if anyone knows something about Perales thank you

My last name is Morales but my great grandmother was a Perales and I have traced the family from San Antonio, Texas to Mexico but I havn't had much luck in finding anything further...

Perales is my last name also. The majority of my dad's family lives in the Rio Grande Valley, TX, and has for as long as I can remember.

Our name means Pear Tree or Orchard.
