  1. The first link is a multimedia tool that will allow you to build and play your own jeopardy game in the classroom (your q&a).

The second is an online student newspaper service.

  2. What subject?  What type of media (it depends on what you have access to)?

  3. I use aver-key that connects to my computer then to the television in my room. Thus I can show web content or powerpoints to everyone in the class.  They can all see the material and I don't need individual computers.

  4. It depends on the grade, but its fun to let kids play "reporter." Students can interview others using a video camera about whatever subject you are teaching and you can set it up like a news casting. Its simple, but fun for the kids.

Also, inspiration is an awesome computer program that lets kids make graphic organizers. You can download a 30 day trial here: http://www.strategictransitions.com/

Finally, if you have access to an ELMO, thats a good tool to have if you want to read something as a class. Its similar to an overhead projector, only you dont use transparencies. You can place a book, or whatever you're reading, under the scope and it magnifies it and projects it onto the wall, allowing the whole class to see the material.

  5. Check out this software...it's free:
